Limits of this assessment
A questionnaire captures self-assessment, not state. The result is only as sound as the honesty of the answers — and inside your own company that is the hardest ingredient.
- Answer alone and you get your own view back. It becomes informative when three to five people from different areas answer separately and you look at where they diverge.
- The level is a classification, not a certificate. It follows no standard and is not comparable with other providers' maturity models.
- The comparison figure for small and mid-sized companies is a rough orientation, not a representative survey. Use it as a rough marker, not as an argument.

A classification of how far a company has taken its workflows, tools, data, skills and planning into digital form. It is not a quality verdict: a low maturity level in a well-functioning business points to unused options, not to a defect.
